Their love of horses has been for over 32 years since Sarah was a young girl. Starting with a Welsh pony for fun and then moving onto a beautiful cob that was used for showing and dressage.

In 2018 we purchased our first miniature Shetland and fell in love with their characteristics and beautiful qualities.

In 2019 we started thinking about setting up a stud after Sarah & her partner Jon had acquired some land. After researching and looking for the right quality ponies with amazing temperaments the stud was started.

Amanda and Sarah spent time buying the right ponies from many top studs in the country. Our aim is to breed top quality show stock and fabulous family pets.

The Millcoate stud are often seen around the country with their fabulous show team of super ponies.

Recently Amandas sister Amy has joined the team with her own stock of ponies. This means we are able to show more of our ponies and have added a variety of colours to the team!

Every year we hold a sale of foals born that year and occasionally other ponies too. Please feel free to contact us with any enquiries.
